This Privacy Policy explains how Poser (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android devices. Poser is designed to assist you in capturing better photos with pose guidance and camera overlays.

1. Information We Process

A. On-Device Camera & Photo Storage

• Camera Feed: When you open the camera in Poser, the live video preview is processed strictly on your device to display camera guidance, alignment frames, and pose overlays. No live video or preview frames are ever uploaded or recorded without your action.
• Captured Photos: Photos you take using Poser are saved directly to your device’s local storage (in the standard Pictures/Poser gallery album). These photos remain entirely under your control on your device.

B. Information Collected Automatically

To monitor app stability, improve usability, and support free access, the app integrates industry-standard Google SDKs that collect limited technical and telemetry data:

• Usage & Interaction Telemetry: Screen views, feature interactions (e.g., pose category selected, shutter button taps, camera toggles), session duration, and general engagement events collected via Google Analytics for Firebase.
• Pseudonymous User Identifier: An anonymous, randomly generated identifier (UUID) assigned locally upon installation to measure user journeys and app retention. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or physical identity.
• Advertising Identifier (AD_ID): Used by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to deliver advertisements, prevent ad fraud, control frequency, and measure ad performance.
• Device & Diagnostic Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, language, IP address (for general country/city region routing and network diagnostics), and error logs.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you grant notification permission, a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token is generated to deliver app announcements, tips, and updates.

2. Device Permissions Used

Poser requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features:

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device’s Settings > Apps > Poser > Permissions.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services that may collect information sent by your device as part of their standard SDK operation:

5. Data Retention & Security

We adopt commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect data transmitted to third-party services. Analytics data collected via Firebase is retained in aggregated, pseudonymous format in accordance with Firebase standard retention settings.

Your photos are stored solely on your local device storage and remain there until you choose to delete them.

6. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

• Advertising ID Opt-Out / Reset: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time via Settings > Google > Ads on your Android device.
• Disable Push Notifications: You can disable notifications anytime in Settings > Apps > Poser > Notifications.
• Permission Controls: You can revoke Camera or Storage permissions at any time in Android Settings.
• Data Inquiries & Deletion Requests: If you have questions regarding data collected by third-party SDKs or wish to request data deletion, please contact us at the email below.

7. Children’s Privacy

Poser is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so we can promptly take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or operational changes. The “Effective Date” at the top of this document indicates when the latest revisions took effect. Continued use of Poser following any update indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
